Meet Dr. Kothari
Dr. Rishi Kothari grew up in Western New York and is proud to be back to serve the community he has always called home. With his mother being an orthodontist for more than 30 years and Dr. Kothari experiencing his own smile transformation with braces, he developed a passion for orthodontics at a very young age. After graduating from Allegany-Limestone High School, followed by New York University, he headed to the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine, where he received his doctorate in dental surgery. Dr. Kothari scored well enough to earn a highly competitive residency position at the Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics. Now, he’s fulfilled his dream of opening his own practice in his home state and offering personalized, high-tech care to his patients.
Meet Dr. Kumar
Board-certified pediatric dentist Dr. Reshma Kumar grew up in sunny Tampa, Florida. She attended Case Western Reserve University where she received her Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees. She then packed up and headed to New Jersey to complete her general practice residency at Monmouth Hospital. Dr. Kumar moved to New York to specialize in pediatric dentistry at Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx where she also served as chief resident. Now, after joining forces with Dr. Kothari, Dr. Kumar is dedicated to helping the patients at 914 Smiles build a foundation for good oral health and she strives to make every visit a fun and positive experience.
